About Valley Electric
Valley Electric is one of 11 rural electric cooperatives in the state. It was founded in 1937 and provides electricity to eight parishes in West-Central Louisiana. There are seven Board of Directors elected by the member-owners. Valley Electric provides jobs to approximately 106 employees at three area offices in Natchitoches, Mansfield, and Hornbeck. A large cooperative, Valley serves approximately 30,000 members and 41,000 meters over 7,100 miles of line.
